WHAT IS A PRAYER MINISTRY APPOINTMENT?

A prayer ministry appointment is a 1 to 1.5 hour session with one of our staff coaches and either another staff member or volunteer prayer ministers. Your first appointment is considered an intake appointment that generally lasts for 1 hour. During this time we want to hear your concerns and the nature of your needs. We will ask you some preliminary questions in order to determine how to best meet the needs you may have. If it appears that you would benefit from further ministry sessions we will request that 1 or 2 non-family members you choose begin joining you for your ministry sessions. Ideally, these are individuals from your small group fellowship or church. Our primary aim is to equip others for ministry and not merely provide a service that is independent of the resources God has provided through the Body of Christ.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our first objective is to provide a safe and confidential environment for you to hear from Jesus through the counsel of the Holy Spirit. This means we will pray with you in order for you to hear from Jesus yourself in regard to your problem or need. With your permission we will test to see if there are spiritual influences (lies, effects, or influences of the enemy) that may be contributing to the issues you’re dealing with and attempt to resolve them. Many people come in with an unrealistic idea that their problems can be resolved in one session or through some kind of instantaneous deliverance experience. While a single session can resolve many issues, most matters take time, particularly if there’s a long history of dealing with the same issue. Our goal is to resolve the problems or issues you’re dealing with at the point of origin utilizing God’s truth and the power and counsel of the Holy Spirit so you can experience freedom to live the life He promised and fulfill the purpose for which you were created in Christ Jesus.
